Compassionate Science
We have progressed so much compared to past decades. From the cavemen discovering fire, to Edison discovering the lightbulb every invention has helped our world progress drastically. We have made machines that have helped us save the lives of some people. Everything that we have achieved is helping us progress and help us save lives and discover new things! If we continue to progress the way we are maybe one day we will be able to bring back extinct animals like the dinosaurs! We must continue to ask questions, wonder about things we don't know about, and try answering the questions others have to continue to progress and be successful.
My Review on the Elephant Man
I really liked this movie. I actually liked it so much I found it on Netflix and re watched it with my mom. This movie was beautiful but very sad. I found it disgusting how these people judged and treated John Merrick like he wasn't human just because he was deformed. John Merrick was a very intelligent and so kind so it made me so sad to see the way he was treated. This movie mad me cry towards the end because well it seemed as if he commited suicide. I wish I could have met this character and told me it was all fine and that there was nothing wrong with him. This reminds me of ho society is today, judgmental of everyones imperfections. No one is born perfect so why should we look down upon others for their looks. This movie was beautiful because of John Merrick and how no matter how bad he was treated he was so kind to everyone even if they were frightened by him.
