Laughed So Hard

 

So this one time in environmental class we built landfills in a bottle. What i didn't know was there was a bottom piece of a bottle under our other bottle filled with water. I thought this piece of bottle was taped to the landfill, but it wasn't. So when I went to get ahold of the landfill bottle I held it wrong and the water all spilled on the floor and on the tables. That wasn't the funny part. Brandon sits in front of me and was told many times by the teacher to not lean back with his chair because he was going to fall, and guess what happened? When I was going to get ahold of the landfill Brandon knew what was going to happen so he yelled "NOO" while leaning back on his chair then trying to reach forward to get ahold of the bottle before it fell, he was too late. Instead of catching the bottle before it fell he fell back brining himself, the chair, and table with him. Two incidents at once, and thanks to him falling no one noticed what mess I had done. I have never laughed so much.

The Future

I have always wondered about the future and how it would be. One can imagine flying cars, talking robots, and things like such. But perhaps the future won't be as great as in a movie. The way the world has progressed I don't see the world being any better in future years. The world has become polluted, destroyed by us. Maybe the world will become more polluted and global warming will be an even bigger issue. Or maybe the world will take another path and become better than it is now. There can more awareness of keeping the earth clean. I do hope in the future though we will have more cures to diseases that were thought to be incurable. Finding cures for cancer, or cystic fibrosis. For sure there will be being advancement to technology for cell phones, video game systems, television, everything. I wonder if the future will have a different style of fashion? I wonder about how the future will be, it could either be great or bad,  but it is all up to us to choose the right path.

Modern Times Review

Modern Times by Charlie Chaplin over all was a very interesting movie. He is very charismatic and very humorous which made the movie more enjoyable. Charlie Chaplin seems to be very positive about any bad situation no matter how bad things might be he still managed to smile and continue searching for something better. The fact the movie was in black and white and used little to no talking made it a even more unique movie. The movie also had many hidden messages mostly about staying positive about life no matter how hard it may seem. Charlie Chaplin had a nervous breakdown but was able to recuperate and continue to look for work. No matter how many times he got arrested for many accidental reasons or for reasons that weren't even his fault he was still funny and happy. In the end of the movie the gamin and himself were left without jobs and are running from the law. The gamin was very upset, but in the end Charlie Chaplin just told her to smile letting her know everything was going to be okay despite their situation and made it such a nice ending.
